SCHOLARSHIP
The members of the Richmond Branch of the National Association of University Women are pleased to announce that applications for our 2025 Lillian Ward McDaniel Scholarship are now being accepted.
Complete application packets received from female high school seniors with a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher will be eligible for review (incomplete and/or noncompliant applications will not be considered).
APPLICATIONS ARE DUE MARCH 15, 2025
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
The following documents constitute a complete application packet:
- Completed Application Packet
- UN/Official Transcript (sealed)
- Letter of recommendation from a high school teacher, counselor or administrator (must be on school letterhead)
- Letter of recommendation from a community organization in which the applicant
- Currently volunteers or has volunteered in the past (must be on organization letterhead)

- 2. Looking for some resume tips? resume with work experience
- 3. Not sure about a 4-year college, here are some local community colleges
- 4. Have you taken/scheduled to take your SAT test? (satsuite.collegeboard.org/sat/dates-deadlines)
- 5) On your scholarship search? Look on your own and ask your school counselor.
